What you receive

Precise deliverables

How we work

Four rules, no exceptions
01Signed quote before the first frame

Nothing is shot without a written brief and an agreed price.

02Character reference sheets

One sheet per outfit and per state, so the face holds from one shot to the next.

03Four to eight takes per shot

Every shot is generated several times, and we keep the best take.

04Check before delivery

Identity, location, light, continuity: four points checked before the shot ships.

Turnaround

Numbered, not an open-ended promise

Reply and quote within 48 hours. The schedule starts when the deposit and your material arrive (copy, brand guidelines, logo, references).

  • Character sheets submitted for your approval within five working days.
  • First edit within two weeks.
  • Final delivery two to three weeks after the deposit, both revision rounds included.

A late approval pushes delivery back by the same amount of time.

What is included, what is not

So the quote holds no surprise

Included

  • One locked lead character and the sets the film needs.
  • Two rounds of revisions.
  • One named approver on your side.
  • Sound edit and colour grade.
  • An exclusive, perpetual licence to the final deliverables.

Not included

  • Additional characters, quoted separately.
  • A second aspect ratio, quoted separately: framing is set at generation, not by cropping.
  • Voice over and music: either you supply your track and warrant the rights to it, or the studio produces it, priced in the quote.
  • The third revision round, on an additional quote agreed before the work is done.
  • Working files (prompts, boards, intermediate versions), which stay with the studio.

Examples

Work by the studio

Mpemba ya Luvila, the opening title sequence for the Kimuntu universe: the characters keep their face and their costume from one shot to the next, flame after flame. The other sequences from that universe, the music video Quiet Crown and the first episode of Zoya, le code source are on the Films page. The studio produced them for its own universes: it is the work itself, not a showreel made elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Before you sign
Who owns the files?

Once payment is received in full, you hold an exclusive, perpetual licence to use the final deliverables, across all media and all uses. The studio only keeps the right to show the film in its portfolio, unless you object in writing before delivery.

What if the face changes from one shot to the next?

That is failure number one in AI video, and the reason the sheets and the checks exist. A shot whose face has drifted is redone at our cost.

If I bring my own script, does the price go down?

No. We turn it into a shot by shot breakdown, but what you pay for is the prompt writing, the character consistency, the edit and the checks. A supplied script speeds up approval, not production.

Can I have both a 16:9 and a 9:16 version?

The aspect ratio is decided in the quote, before the first frame: framing is set at generation, not by cropping. One ratio is included; the second is genuinely reshot, and priced in the quote.

How does payment work?

50% on order, balance on delivery. Final files are released once the balance is received. Displayed prices exclude VAT.

I am a business outside the UK. How is VAT handled?

You are invoiced with no UK VAT and you account for it under the reverse charge (HMRC VAT Notice 741A); we keep your VAT number on file. UK clients pay VAT at 20% on top.

What if the project drifts once we start?

The quote stays the reference document. Any request that reopens something already approved goes on an additional quote, agreed before the work starts.
