Motion design

15 seconds, vertical version included

£850ex VAT

Fifteen seconds where the text, the colour and the movement are settled before the first frame, for a film that reads at a glance, without a word spoken.

What you receive

Precise deliverables

How we work

Four rules, no exceptions
01Signed quote before the first frame

Nothing is shot without a written brief and an agreed price.

02Style boards

Palette, type and hero object locked on a board before the first animated second.

03Four to eight takes per shot

Every shot is generated several times, and we keep the best take.

04Check before delivery

Identity, location, light, continuity: four points checked before the shot ships.

Turnaround

Numbered, not an open-ended promise

First cut within 3 to 5 working days after the quote is signed, the deposit received and your brief is complete (message, on-screen text, colours, your logo if you have one, product images if you supply them).

Each round of revisions is turned around in 1 to 2 working days. An approval that comes late moves delivery back by the same amount.

What is included, what is not

So the quote holds no surprise

Included

  • Written quote with a fixed price before the first frame.
  • Both formats: 16:9 and the recomposed 9:16 vertical version.
  • The palette and typeface locked before production, and the on-screen text written with you or taken from your brief.
  • Two rounds of revisions, with one named approver on your side.
  • The edit and the colour grade, and the check before delivery (spelling, palette, legibility in vertical, sharpness).
  • A commercial usage licence for your channels.

Not included

  • The third round of revisions, billed separately.
  • Sound design and voice over, priced in the quote: the film is silent by default.
  • Any format beyond the two included, or a longer running time.
  • Speaking human characters: that is the Commercial service, not this one.
  • 3D animation of property and longer formats: on quote, priced per finished minute.
  • Commercial music, ever; a third-party brand or logo without your written authorisation; live footage you do not supply.

Work by the studio

A motion design film produced by the studio is coming soon to this page. In the meantime, see our recent work on the Films page: the music video Quiet Crown, the title sequence Mpemba ya Luvila and the first episode of Zoya, the Source Code.

Frequently asked questions

Before you sign
What is a 15-second motion design film for?

To say one thing, fast: a product launch, an offer, a figure, a promise. It is the format that holds up on a home page, at the top of an email, as an ad, or at the top of a social feed, where a long film would not be watched through to the end.

How is this different from the Commercial service?

The Commercial stages people and places filmed as in cinema, over 20 to 30 seconds. Motion design stages no human character at all: what moves is your images, your product, your text and your colour. If your film needs a character who speaks, the Commercial is what you want.

Can I supply my own images and my own text?

Yes, and that is the best case. Product photos, renders, screenshots, your logo, your brand guidelines: the studio animates what you supply. On-screen text is either taken word for word from your brief or written with you and approved before the first frame, and nothing outside that approved list appears in frame.

Is the vertical version included?

Yes. It is recomposed, not cropped: the vertical frame is decided at production, the text restacks and the movement is rethought for height. Any format beyond those two is priced in the quote.

Does the film come with sound?

It is silent by default, and that is a choice: the rhythm is carried by the movement and the cuts, and a silent film still reads where sound is muted. Sound design is priced in the quote, with original or royalty-free music, never a commercial track.

Who owns the files, and how does payment work?

The final file is yours once the balance is paid, with a commercial usage licence for your channels. The studio only keeps the right to show the film in its portfolio, unless you refuse in writing before delivery. Payment: 50% on signing the quote, 50% on delivery.

Is VAT included in the price shown?

No, the price excludes VAT. Businesses outside the UK are invoiced with no UK VAT (reverse charge applies); UK clients pay VAT at 20% on top.

Does the £850 rate still apply to my order?

Yes, for the first five commissions outside the community offer. The full rate applies afterwards, between £1,200 and £1,650 ex VAT depending on how complex the film is. The film is made with artificial intelligence tools directed by the studio: what you pay for is the writing, the art direction, the edit and the check before delivery.
